During the ROG DAY 2025 live event held in China, we were able to discover a very high-end NUC. The NUC is equipped with a Core Ultra 9 275HX with 24 cores and 24 threads, combined with an RTX 5080 (mobile version) with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory. The NUC comes equipped with 32 GB of DDR5 at 6,400 MT/s and a 1 TB PCI-Express 5.0 NVMe SSD.
The other details confirm that this is a very high-end product, with extensive connectivity. The NUC benefits from Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connections. It also has a UBS4 / Thunderbolt 4 connector, 6x USB 3.2 ports, 1x USB-C and four 4K video outputs in the form of 2x DisplayPort 2.1 2x HDMI 2.1. There’s also an SD card reader and a headphone socket. Finally, for networking, you’ll be able to take advantage of a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. The configuration should also come in several flavours, as the NUC motherboard is capable of accepting up to 96 GB of RAM in So-Dimm format.
For those who’ve forgotten, Asus took over Intel’s NUC business almost 2 years ago, when the Blues decided to clean up their act. This vitamin-packed version looks promising and features an advanced ventilation system to keep these high-end components running in a 3L chassis.

ASUS ended its presentation by revealing the Chinese prices for the two different versions of its NUC 2025, the only difference being the capacity of the integrated SSD, available in 1TB or 2TB. This difference is reflected in the prices: the 1TB version costs $3335, while the 2TB version costs $3417. They are due to go on sale in China at the end of April.
